Are you using PHP 5.2? Because it’s a pretty old version, we don’t officially support it, but the update to make the :: syntax work was small so we went ahead and did it.

We’ve got a path for fixing it, aiming to release it by this Friday.

Hi… I haven’t heard of this before. I would have thought that a simple theme switch would have maintained all existing content. When you look at the Edit Post screen for one of your existing posts, does it show the embed URL?

1) That is correct.

2) This is fine.

The answer is yes. You can use embedded images on a blog that also has ads, but you can’t use the embedded image as part of the ad or to sell or promote any product, service or business or to raise money.

We’ve checked and do not see any issues with versioning.

I can say, though, that the URL for the embedded image needs to be on it’s own line in your post. That’s the only way for the URL to be converted into the image.

Could be a compatibility issue with version WP 4.4.1. We’re checking it out.

You should see the actual image if you Preview your post. Or Publish it. When you’re composing your post, you’ll just see the URL.

Are you still seeing the URL when you preview/publish?
