did you ever get this resolved? I’m interested in using this theme for my current website.

I do mean the Arras theme, and I see what you are saying about Buddypress being more than that. I’m still in the learning phases of all of this, but I know I want the front/main page to be more like the front page of Arras.

I’ll try to search for different themes – if anyone has any recommendations, I’d sure appreciate it.
