Yeah, I’ve been having similar issues on and off for about 6 months now. I’ve deleted, reinstalled, activated, de-activated.
I’m using W3TC and tried to follow the above advice to disable the feed cache, but can’t find that option for the life of me. Does anyone know where it is?

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0.4 causes fatal errorYes, I renamed them back to what they were after I got the site to load.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0.4 causes fatal errorAlthough, now I apparently do not have sufficient permissions to reactivate plugins. Sigh. What does this mean? Does anyone know how to fix it?
Edit: Nevermind, please ignore. Seems to be a plugin related problem, not a WP problem. Can reactive some, if not most. Sorry for the stupid question.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.0.4 causes fatal errorThanks for your help! While you were typing that, I started renaming all the plugins one by one, figuring that’s a way of “deactivating” them. Turns out, it was the podpress plugin (yet again). Back to normal now. Thanks a bunch, I’m going to save your reply in case this comes up again in the future.

In reply to: Change from separate 2.9 to combined 3.0?I have the same question and one slightly different one: so if I have three separate blogs, one on the main domain and two others on sub-domains, I can integrate the backed on all of them using the “network” feature, correct?
If I do that and go through the process, nothing’s gonna happen to my content is it?

In reply to: [Plugin: Tabbed Widgets] Enabling widget disables Widget menuIf it may be of further use, it seems that the information I enter in the widget (title of the tabbed widget itself, title of each individual tab) is reflected on the blog, it’s just the format that doesn’t work: i.e. they don’t appear in tabs; the rest of the info seems to update.
Edit: I added a third tab in the widgets interface to confirm (“pages”) and as you can see it shows up on the blog.
Switching to “accordion” makes no difference.
By the way, thanks for the plugin and for the attempt to fix this. It’s appreciated quite a bit.

In reply to: [Plugin: Tabbed Widgets] Enabling widget disables Widget menuSome further information: I deleted and re-installed and I’ve made sure that the “widgets” in the invisible area are the exact same widgets I’ve selected in the “tabbed widgets” widget as Tab 1 and Tab 2.
Also, I’m running 2.8.6.
For visual confirmation, my site is here.

In reply to: [Plugin: Tabbed Widgets] Enabling widget disables Widget menuI have the same problem. The “tabbed widget” menu has disappeared and the widgets are appearing as regular widgets in the sidebar instead of tabbed.

In reply to: Fatal Error on Auto InstallI did what you recommended and now it shows the latest post a 100 times on the front page of the blog.
It says either that there’s a fatal error at the bottom of the page or a problem with a plugin. The blog’s back end has also gotten extremely slow and takes forever to load. Wasn’t a problem with 2.7.
Any suggestions?

In reply to: Playin’ With AsideShopmaijs, thanks for the tips. I’m not very adept at altering CSS, so where would I put that in the style.css file and how does it know that I’m referring only to the asides?
Or do I put that in the asides template in the asides options area?

In reply to: Playin’ With AsideShopCan anyone tell me how to make it look different? Right now the asides are just showing up between posts as text on white backgrounds. I want to change the background color, put it in a box or something to make it stand out and look different. How do I change the style and where? Thanks.

In reply to: Multiple issues with Media GalleryHmm. Even when I upload a new image and seek to have it inserted as a thumbnail, it appears rather large. I have to manually resize it in the text editor.
