In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack unable to connectHi jeremy thanks for the reply. It is interesting though, because I never removed the xlrpc from the site, so it was removed by the hosting company (as I had assumed) it doesn’t explain why the Jetpack was working until yesterday when I updated it.
If i understand well, XML-RPC file are susceptible to Brute force attacks via XML-RPC, should i just create the file and insert in my root domain?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack unable to connectHi i just updated my Jackpack to 5.9 and it stopped working. It tells
“Error Details: The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record”.
When I debug it i get an error concerning Debug
XML-RPC is not responding correctly ( 404 )
It looks like XML-RPC is not responding correctly. Please make sure XML-RPC is turned on for your site and is set up to respond to all content types. You can test this yourself by running the following command from the command line:curl -A ‘Jetpack by WordPress.com’ -d ‘<methodCall><methodName>demo.sayHello</methodName></methodCall>’ https://giovanninavarria.com/xmlrpc.php
But my xmlrpc is never been connected (because of secure reason), and jetpack has always worked. The ssl certificate seems ok.
Any thought?
If i disinstall the plungin and resin tall it, will i lose all stats history connected to the site?
Thanks.
Gio

In reply to: Internal Server Error on Plugin and UpdatesDear Word Press crowd any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
My site works perfectly, but when I am use the wordpress dashboard I am unable to access
blog/wp-admin/update-core.php
blog/wp-admin/plugins.php
blog/wp-admin/plugin-install.phpI can access all other pages, even blog/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php
As I said earlier I tried all of the suggestions which I found in previous posts
renamed htaccess file from main folder and subfolder
reuploaded wp-admin and wp-includes from fresh download.
i deleted plugins and created new. Also uploaded from old backup.
No error messages, apart from the ones quoted above which have nothing to do with the plugins.Any help? Thanks.

In reply to: Internal Server Error on Plugin and UpdatesHi Tim
I did add the debug line.
There might be some errors in the templates, but nothing justifies the impossibility of accessing the the plugins and updates features in the dashboard. Is anything else i can do? I am not sure what is the problem. Thanks. Below the log.
