It seems to work partly now. Meaning-now it shows the image that I want to pin along with one duplicate image and one bluehost advertisement image ?? very strange! Just to make sure, I am talking about the sharing buttons under the post not inside the recipe box.

Also, Is there a way to select some sharing buttons to show within recipe box and remove others?

Hi Brecht, Thanks for your reply! I haven’t had problem so far with my theme. If you can see other posts, they show featured image and excerpts with ‘read more’ link to full post.

I think the problem is- rest of my posts come under ‘posts’ but the new recipe post with WP Ultimate does not show up as ‘post’ but shows up as ‘recipe’ on my dashboard. And that is why the regular excerpt thing is not working with it. You can have a look at the other posts here- https://www.plantbasedhealthy.com

My other posts also show categories, tags at the bottom and date and author on the top but this new recipe post doesn’t. I don’t know how to fix it.

Thumbnail setting was set to – ‘only on archive pages’ which I changed to ‘Always’ still no change.

I guess, it is for wordpress.com likes and I figured how to remove it. But if I want to keep it and display under the posts, it does not show any way to like the post. Just says ‘loading…..’

Hi, Thanks for your reply! The post shows up now without changing the theme. I think it happened because I checked the subcategory but not the parent category (recipe) as it was already showing in the permalink. But after I checked the main category, it shows up.

However, The image still doesn’t show up. I did not insert any image in the post but set my desired image as featured image. I thought if I insert image as well as set the same image as featured image (to show up with excerpt) it’ll use extra space.
Is that a right way to do it for this plugin?

I really liked the plugin so far. However, need to figure out a couple of things.

That’s their standard size for vertical ad units. And increasing width of sidebar still doesn’t do the job as the change can only be by 25%,30%… (difference of 5) and so on.. one can’t put a number of choice and test. Anyways, I’ll check if I can customize the ad unit on google later.

I have activated the ‘spelling and grammar’ in Jetpack settings. I was not sure that WP’ll spellcheck even without setting anything and that it is handled by the browser. That’s why I asked.

I was not able to see the ads until today. But it did not show up when I was checking yesterday even after your could see the code. I don’t know what is wrong. I also could not see the page header spacing y’day.

Anyways, now the ad unit displays but doesn’t fit right under the widgets. It would look better if the width is same as the widgets. Is there a way to change the width of the ad unit? In the adsense this is the standard size for a long-vertical unit.

You are right. That code is working. I don’t know why I could not notice that. Had to remove the code again to notice the change it made. It’s embarrassing!
