Sorry but at the moment I have no available free time to further develop this plugin. I made its source code available on GitHub(https://github.com/mgiulio/mg-quotes).

Yeah, a QOTD(Quote Of The Day) feature was in my ‘TODO-MAYBE’ list. So with your vote this feature will increase its priority:)

Probably next week 1.2 will be out with the [quotes] shortcode.

you have to modify your theme’s template files. In the loop for the quotes use the statement mg_qt_Query::quote_author_name(get_the_ID()) to get the quote author name.
