I exported the etsy store in csv but they did not export it with the variations and attributes info. I bought a plugin that did add what was in that file i had from etsy. It made simple product from all the items that had atts and vars. I have to go each 1 by 1 to add that in wooC section of each item page.

I would love to be able to set up that att/var structure once and then “pick” it somehow or apply it to each item. Like in the “product” listing in Woo how we can quick edit multiple items for shipping or satus to change in bulk.

Kind of like the way I can set up a shipping class ONCE (1x) then chose it for an item on its page or in quick edit bulk.

I guess ill have to start one at a time bc i keep putting it off hoping for a quick easy answer to my misery…lol

Just to update, I did get the cloudflare apache module add to my vps. I also got rid of the plugin for CF. I dont like it be there if not used/needed. I get all the real ip now as if not thru CF! ??

i found them …in the spam folder. I didnt see that folder bc it was in the “more” drop down. I dont use gmail much so not sure shere it was but it seems to be ok now too… ??

That is why i am going to try the Mod_CF bc i have many sites on my vps and each has the cf plugin some with your Stop Spammers plugin some not!

I will prob disable so that it keeps my setting incase the mod thing dont work or i want to go back.

It it seem to be good wo the CF plugins then in a while i may delete them.

(Now i have to fight w gmail to get them to stop blocking my email server…lol…should be fun)

OMG i am so not sure what is going on bc today I see some non CF ips! YEsterday they were all from CF. I didnt change a thing so maybe i’ll just let it go and see what happens for the next few days.

They ones today are from Viet Nam And rRomania both of witch are checked off in the country block section so not sure about that either… ??

I am having my host (hostgator) install the Mod_cloudflare on my vps so that might help. I will post the outcome of that.

Can i remove the plugin if i use the Mod_CF?

I use very good pws on all my sites. The ones that do have admin I make very long and then create a new admin acc that I can pick name other than admin. I use that account and never the orignal one.

This p.i. does very good job with what was made for so I am happy.

I ment to mention b4 about if it was poss to be able to block/allow by country instead of ips I use cloudflare on a few client sites and it has a way to block by Country.

I have been trying some stuff out but none worked yet. I dont expect you to worry about this prob if not many have had an issue.

I can run linux from a virtual machine s maybe you can use similar way to run windows from a vm for testing when u have the time.

Glad to hear about changing the sessions to cookies. It dont really slow things down or anything its just annoying and my vps doesn’t seem to clean up them old files for some reason.

I just added one to a site to block some strange ips from amazon and found this tool to generate the deny part to put into the htaccess it is here: https://www.toshop. com/htaccess-generator.cfm

If i forget my login i usually just send reset em after 2-3 just to save time but i guess soem would get pissed. Its not like they dont have another way to get access they can just send em to reset like me.

Renaming the admin user is not easy ..i THINK uou have to go into the db to edit. I make sure I set it up NOT using admin as main username when i install a new WordPress site. It doesnt stop them from hitting the login to try though. Admin is fine as long as you use a pw with caps, lower cast, numbers and symbols like !@#THis-is_mY-Super-hArd-pw!@#

Ok thnx I did take them out of the part in the ‘code’ and took ips “xxxx” part but didn’t realize it was above there with the full ips.

I knew it was not good when i saw but i could not fix so I alerted a moderator to fix.

I will be more careful in future.

I did again but i had done that b4 when i first saw the suggestion.
It did rmove a couple of errors than b4 i addied the whole url into the file as you asked.

I had cloudflare running fo rthis site but turned it off yester day incase that matters bc I think they cache the js files. I also purged the cache there too so everything should be “live”

i am not sutre what i am looking at in the code but in some places it refs to “rtl” and the progress bar. Should this be ltr? It moves from l to r but maybe not.

And a few places where it mentions niftyplaer and niftyPlayer could one be a P where it should be p?

Thanks, if no one else is having this issue u dont have to worry about it if it just me. I can just TELL them to use another player. They jsut hate changes.

No luck seems to not make any diff. My progress bar starts all the way to right as if its alnost done all the way and in FF it flickers a bit but is also all the way to right. in IE it still wont play at all and give me this error code:

bc it is diff files it seem to be diff lines listed as error and it may help u a bit i hope.

I can set up a site on my vps to test stuff if u need. I have a few unused domain names i can thro wp on as tes site …just let me know.
