You might have to delete the wordfence-waf.php file from the root of your wordpress installation and delete or comment out the Wordfence WAF entries from your htaccess file. I’ve found that these can cause issues even if the plugin is disabled.

In reply to: [Meow Lightbox] Disable for ALL images EXCEPT galleriesAWESOME! Thanks Joe Fry – that’s exactly what I was wanting – SOLVED! It would be nice for the author to build in a option to use it only for galleries but since I use the Meow Gallery on all my websites, this works and I’m very grateful! Thanks again Joe!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] PHP notice in server error logsHi – one of my clients has been getting these as well in the error logs. Hundreds of them! I enabled the debug option inside your plugins settings and will monitor.
We have been testing other plugins since having working links in the pdfs is non-negotiable.

In reply to: [Meow Gallery] ALT text not showing in galleriesHi Jordy! All the images have alts – we painstakingly went through each image in the media library making sure they had alts.
When I disable the meow gallery plugin so it uses the default wordpress gallery, the alts then show up. The only thing that makes this site different from my other websites is that we used foogallery before I found your awesome gallery plugin.
I assumed that something in foogallery was causing the problem, so I before deleting the plugin, I used their option to wipe all settings which supposedly makes it like the plugin was never there. But that didn’t solve the issue.
I can provide a screenshot showing the alts showing and then not showing in the inspector if it helps.

In reply to: [Meow Gallery] Internet Explorer issueI made a small css adjustment that doesn’t make it look as pretty as it could, but it does make it look better than having full size images all lined up on top of one another. I just reduce the size of the gallery images in IE with the following code (pixel width can be adjusted to one’s liking) –
@media screen\0 {.mgl-justified .mgl-item img {width: 300px;}}

In reply to: [Meow Gallery] Internet Explorer issueThanks dzunker22. Too bad, didn’t think it would be a major re-write. I know how to make a banner for anyone using IE, but I don’t know how to serve the regular wordpress gallery only for IE users.

In reply to: [PB SEO Friendly Images] %media_alt and %media_title showing post titleAny progress on this?
I actually have found another solution using the media library assistant plugin with their “fixit” addon. Permanently writes the media library alts into the html of the pages/posts.

In reply to: [PB SEO Friendly Images] %media_alt and %media_title showing post titleAlways run the latest as I’m neurotic about keeping updated. WordPress 5.4.2 and your plugin version 4.0.4

In reply to: [PB SEO Friendly Images] %media_alt and %media_title showing post titleI am now finding that the media_alt is not working on any website and we’ve put in hours to get alt descriptions put in via the media library. I have tried disabling all plugins except for PB SEO Friendly Images and switching to the default theme (I usually use divi).
Even if I have both the alt and title schemes set to media_alt, the beautifully written alt descriptions in the media library still will not show. I’ve tried overriding and changing the sync just to see what would happen, but nothing. Again, this is after having no other plugins running and using the default theme.
There was a recent update to wordpress. Could something in the last update be interfering? Help?

In reply to: [PB SEO Friendly Images] %media_alt and %media_title showing post titleSame problem with one of my websites – %media_alt not picking up the alt from the media library no matter what I’ve tried. I’ve tried about every setting variation there is to see what happens, but no luck – simply refuses to use the media library alt.
