Ditto – doing this on one website while it seems to work correctly on others (one so far as I am still in the process of improving our ADA compliance for over 90 websites). I’ve tried about every setting I can and it totally ignores the alt that I have written for images in the media library. Other sites work great when I use %media_alt. Just this hold out being uncooperative….

In reply to: [Meow Gallery] Meow Apps Gallery not retrievable for DIVI themeI use Meow gallery with Divi with no issues, but I do NOT use the built-in Divi gallery module (hate it!). Using the gallery module might be the problem. Just create a normal wordpress gallery using the Divi text module and it works beautifully.

In reply to: [Email Encoder - Protect Email Addresses and Phone Numbers] ADA Compliance?Hi – easiest for me to show a screenshot for the webaccessibility.com site – https://www.greentech-services.net/stuff/Screenshot-Accessibility-Test.png
Using wave accessibility, the error it shows is:
A <noscript> element is present.
Why It Matters
Content within <noscript> is presented if JavaScript is disabled. Because nearly all users (including users of screen readers and other assistive technologies) have JavaScript enabled, <noscript> cannot be used to provide an accessible version of inaccessible scripted content.I bit the bullet and recreated these galleries. Not what I wanted to do, but there it is.
Unfortunately, my problems still persists. I lose 5 out of 15 galleries after the update. As soon as I make the old version of the plugin active they reappear. This is after I updated the plugin settings. Is there a cap on the number of galleries now allowed with the free version of this plugin?

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Problems with Divi themeSorry not to respond for a few days – been uber busy. I’ve been doing a fair amount of caching exclusions and it seems to help sometimes. I will look into autoptimize when I get a chance. Thanks to all for their suggestions!
Thanks for the fast reply. It actually looks like the problem lies with Akismet. It seems to flag the same emails on some of our websites but not others.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Problems with Divi themeJust tried it and nope, didn’t make a difference. The stuff with animations are not showing. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve tried tweaking a few settings with no luck.

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Problems with Divi themeI’m running into the same issue on multiple sites all built with Divi. It appears that it happens to modules that are using the theme’s built-in animations. But not on all sites with animation, some are okay and some are not. The sites are using the very same plugins, so that shouldn’t be an issue. I’m confused as to why some sites are problems and some are not.
As a note, wp-fastest-cache, which though is not overall as good a caching plugin as Swift, still correctly displays sections with the animations on all websites.

Cool. Thanks Marc!

In reply to: [Swift Performance Lite] Problems with Divi themeNope, disabled that as well as the built-in Divi CSS optimizing and it didn’t make a difference. I ended up changing the sections giving us problems (removing animations, parallax, etc.) just to make Swift work because it improves load speed so much more than other caching plugins we’ve tried.
I’ve tried multiple times. I am adding or changing the alt text from inside the media library and I’ve tried this on 2 different websites and the same thing happens on both. Tried disabling the plugins and switching to the default theme but it still doesn’t show the correct alt.
Here’s a screenshot of the image in the media library and on the front page showing the alt in the inspector – https://www.greentech-services.net/stuff/sample-alt-issue.jpg
Here are the current default settings for the plugin, though I have tried checking/unchecking – https://www.greentech-services.net/stuff/plugin-settings.jpg
Let me add that I still really love your plugin and thank you for it!
