Hi Adam,
Thank you. I tried that and got the same result unfortunately.
As an experiment (I’m not sure how helpful) I created a brand new form as a test, with just a radio button (value 1 and 2), calculations, and Paypal. I again got the same results. Although the Paypal API checks out I think I will get the Paypal account owner to take a look at their account before either of us spend any more time on this.
Best regards,
Phil
Hi Adam,
Thank you for persisting with this for me, it is appreciated! In ‘Live’ mode the error message comes up as soon as the Paypal or Pay by Credit Card buttons are clicked. In ‘Sandbox’ mode it goes to the next stage and the Paypal or Credit Card pop-ups appear.
I restored it to ‘Live’ mode and ran a test with the Debug option enabled. I get the same error message (as before, above) in console:
err: “Expected an order id to be passed (enter) @https://www.paypal.com/smart/buttons:18987:80 (enter) @https://www.paypal.com/smart/buttons:8887:6…”
referer: “www.paypal.com”
It suggests there’s an issue with Payal but I don’t think there is (it’s a client’s account) and the API is OK. I’ve seen elsewhere that this could be a bug?
Best, Phil
Hi Nebu John,
Thank you. I ran a conflict test disabling plug ins and changing the theme to Twenty Twenty-Three but still get the same error message. I also tried installing the form from fresh on another site, re-entering the Paypal API, and get the same error. Very puzzling considering you can process the payment. It’s odd because it has been running fine until recently.
Hi Luis,
Apologies for the link settings, I have enabled access here
I edited the Paypal field settings as you suggested, unfortunately I get the same error. I have changed it back to pre-fill disabled.
Thank you!
