Hi, deleted everything, even the website from the hopst and then started again. Issue still persists. Don’t understand. My other wordpress website is fine…..

Thanks, I’ll try this but coding is new to me….managed to set up a child theme but unsure of next steps. WOuld I just paste this into the child css file?

Managed to find the TwentyFourteen Extended plugin and install it OK but doesn’t appear to be a way to increase featured post number…….oh dear.

ANyone?

Resolved by installing Fourteen Extended in the end and set featured images to stretch.

Trying to get lots of posts on the front page, 30 would be about right I think

I have tried changing the max featured post number in the functions php from 6 to 9 or 12 and it doesn’t work.

PS I have already read that link, what I am stuck on is exactly how to do this…..

Nowhere does it say how to do this, its assumed I know…I don’t.

No, they are still there when I look…I am using Chrome…..two grey panels either side of the top photo on the individual post page. Tried logging out of WordPress too and still the same…..

I haven’t changed any code on the standard 2014 theme.
ANy ideas?
