Thank you for taking the trouble to sort this out. As one of the earlier posts hints there are so many variables that the inexperienced can sort out one problem while forgetting to complete an action which he/she knew perfectly well.In my case I was entering the url through the media library and inserting it into my post. Then I added the Content protector wrap-around text. I now know that the the original url was causing the problem. Once I omitted the url from the media page, and ONLY entered it into the Content Protector code it worked!
Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Hello K.
Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to reply. The website is at https://www.wecwc.co.uk and the Dashboard post is at
https://wecwc.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=581&action=editTo find this on my website go to https://www.wecwc.co.uk/videos/Taking the high road.
This should be password protected. It is ‘Unlisted’ in YouTube. It is ‘password protected’ in WordPress. And I have used the code from the WordPress Plugin ‘Content Protector’
[content_protector password=”Whangie”]Taking the high road[/content_protector]It works perfectly with another video (Creation Sings) and with short content, but not with this video. I think it may be to do with the way the video is encoded?
I made two screen captures but can’t get them into this link.
Again – very many thanks for answering my cry for help!

I am trying to hide an ‘unlisted’ YouTube video but it shows and plays in my published post. I have followed the Content Protector instructions thoroughly (I think!) and can’t see where I’m going wrong.
Any suggestions?Thanks.
