In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updateMine seemed to be back working again a few hours ago, but as of right now the dashboard is back to the previous mess. So not impressed.

In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updatereg.kumar – how as the transfer gone so far? I am planning on jumping ship too, but am concerned about losing stuff since I haven’t been very good with backups.
letscre8 – It’s good to know that Crazy Domains have finally admitted they are the source of the problem. I’ll stay off my site at this point. Maybe when CD gets it running again I can do a backup and then look at transferring to another host without losing anything.

In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updateStill no solution as yet. I don’t think a reinstall will help based on Greg’s comment earlier in this thread.

In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updateI get that same message lj.clark about ‘session expired’
As for my domain (I only have one), it was set up in May and has 10 plugins installed, but only 3 are active. I am now using a MyThemeShop theme (PureView). I seem to have the exact same dashboard problems as you too and very little capacity to make any changes, but my site actually looks normal (https://healthystories.com.au/) so it is just the inside part of the website that makes things work that is the problem.
I have no solutions – I can only do very basic things in terms of coding, so only touch colours, centering, etc. But this is way beyond what I can figure out. Will let you know if I find anything though.

In reply to: Dashboard functionality problemI just emailed them a few minutes ago and told them that this problem is happening to other CD users too, so it is likely their server. We’ll see what they say

In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updateI’m not overly happy with Crazy Domains, but what do I do if they insist it isn’t their problem? It didn’t help that the guys accent was so thick I was having trouble understanding a little what he said, but I got him to repeat it and then stated it back to him to make sure I was at least matching his words. I’ve been trying to look up this “wordpress allow comment file script” thing, but can’t see anything about it in the WP support forum.
Greg, have you tried talking to Crazy Domains to see what they say about your sites?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard functionality problemThe guy at Crazy Domains insisted that it isn’t their issue, that the hosting and server were fine. They seemed to think it was a script issue on my site, but I don’t know how to work it out

In reply to: Dashboard functionality problemI have just spoken to my host (Crazy Domains). They tell me that there is nothing wrong with the hosting, but there appears to be a problem with the “wordpress allow comment file script” and that I will need to fix it to resolve the problem. That’s what they told me, but I don’t understand what it means or how to fix it. Suggestions?

In reply to: Dashboard is weird after updateThat’s interesting because I am having the same issues and I am hosted on CrazyDomains.

In reply to: Dashboard is HTML-only and can't update or change anythingAll I can say is thank goodness because mine is doing the same sort of stuff since last night too and I can’t work it out. Sorry – no advice on solutions, but this seems to be a widespread problem based on the recent comments on the support forum
