This has ben resolved as a conflict between two plugins being used on site – Content Views and Regenerate Thumbnails.
Hi @hchouhan,
This item got away from me but is still an issue.
So I did the testing you mentioned last – deleted the 2 images from the website media library then reuploaded and added them to the post and now both images appear to be incorrect. I’m puzzled as to why.
Hi @hchouhan,
Okay, so I did as you asked but the same behavior persists. Also, I noticed that in the little ‘Featured image’ section on the righthand side of the edit post screen the thumbnail there correctly shows most of the picture, there is just a little bit cropped off the top and bottom. But once again when I post it it reverts back to being a horizontal image cropping off the figure’s entire head and everything below her belly button.
The working one still shows correct after removing and setting it up again. I don’t understand why this is happening? There are several other pictures – both that do this and work correctly – but I can’t tell why.
Hi there,
This one is set as a featured image, not posted in the content. I also went so far as to remove the featured image fro mthe post and pick the image again from the media library, which correctly show as being the full 2000×25000 image.
I’m not sure that is the same thing I’m looking for. When someone clicks on the image in the preview widget on the home page – I want to redirect them to the appropriate gallery that contains that image and then upon arrival to that page have that specific image open in the lightbox.
I’ve tried a few things and the closest I’ve gotten so far is having someone redirected to the appropriate gallery and then simulating a click with jQuery on the link that normally would open the image in the lightbox. However, this only takes me directly to the image browser. If I click the link manually it works as intended in the lightbox.
