Checked drafts status. Nothing. Only event showing is a manually placed one. Nothing from FB

Appears to have been published correctly. Granted, I am a new user of the plugin but all seems to have been set up according to instructions.

I get the following message when updating in FB Sync:

“Events Made Easy updated with current Facebook events.
FB session will expire at 2018-10-17 20:17:03”

This makes me feel it is working, but it never shows in EME or in upcoming events in WP. Have tried sync setting of hourly, twice per day, etc. but still nothing.

Thank you for your prompt reply. It seems to be an awesome app if I can get it working.

Upon checking your spreadsheet import file I noticed your email data was not in proper email format. The file may not have imported due to this. Your file also only included one record. As stated above, it would be easier to manually upload scores rather than import via spreadsheet when handling smaller events. Data can be entered only once.

Due to language issues I am unable to research the excel issue. Please try scoring manually as entering via this means for smaller clubs is actually more efficient.

I will try and translate the Excel data and advise.

    Use [disc-golf-player]

No S at end. I see that WP advises it incorrectly. We will get that corrected. Thank you for bringing this issue to light.

All shortcodes works but Excel import function is not getting data, right? I assume the Excel file may need adjusting. Email to [email protected] and we will check.

The Excel import feature is dependant on column headings. If they do not match, they will not import correctly. This usually occurs under “divisions” as various clubs may set up divisions differently. We will look into the Par issue and get back with you.

Can you advise a URL where we can view?

Are you possibly hosted by wordpress.com or on you own server?

Assuming the season has been set up along with an event, players, and results …..

What shortcode are you not receiving ….Event, League, or Player? Do you have the free version or upgrade?

    URL?

Thank for your reply. The plugin, of course, was developed as a full-featured plug-in initially. We have shortcodes for viewing the points system and league standings. From what I understand, you’re saying we can’t just not offer these shortcodes in the WP free version, we need to also extract these features from the plugin code in their entirety as well? Then offer the full-featured plugin elsewhere, right?

No,for example, I want a post to say “Happy New Year’s” on January 1st

Or even “Happy Birthday to ….whoever” on the same day each year. There are many widgets out there that do this, but the organization its for is posting info on Facebook. These posts would not change for year to year. I am seeking to set up a repeatable post (per category) that will post to WP, then implement a auto FB post based on that category.

I may have found a plugin called “Auto Post Scheduler” that does the trick, however, it not exactly what I was seeking. Would love a plugin that added a checkbox for repeating the same post on the same day each year. (kinda like a repeating event on a calendar)

Thanks, and yes, I’ve checked several of those. However, my search is a post that repeats itself annually rather than doing the same post and giving different publishing dates.

Say for ten years … 1 post that repeats ten times on a given day rather than ten separate posts.

You are quite correct. Problem solved. Thank you.

Absolutely perfect! Quick too! I tried once and failed. I’ll get it sooner or later. Thanks
