The upload stalls,
It fails to import the products, and stalls randomly.

Please refer to the solution offered above.

I don’t get an error, or a chance to view reports.

I have contacted my host and the php parameters have been adjusted.
I am STILL having the same issue.

The problem is still random

I have access to my files, where do I find this please ?

If that is the case, and I very much doubt if it is.

Why is this page showing only AFTER I have run the WP installer, and why would someone go to all the trouble of putting a fake WP page on hosting providers server ?

I am already running a WP site on another hosting account with them without any issues.

Explain to me in what possible way this could be a hosting provider issue

I’ve just downloaded and tried to install the tar.gz file, this is what I get

as you can see from that image the installation even has the browser tab as the page is shown

I’m no expert but I think your download for 351 has been compromised, I’ve tried to install it five times now all with the same result.

During the install I’m not even asked for admin details, instead of the install finishing with the normal WordPress “Were you expecting more” page it goes straight to a dummy page, you cannot log in from it, you cannot access the admin panel from it.

I suggest someone tries this out immediately, because if it’s not you it’s a problem with my host !!
