do you use the “yet another related post plugin”?

this plugin unforunatly causes problems liek this. maybe some other plugin does it.

working on it, but at the moment i don’t see a solution.

please give me an url to check that. what do you mean with background of the widget. adsense ads cannot be transparent, so that you can see the an background image behind ! you xou mean that ?

If the adcode is added, but blank spaces, or yellow boxes appear instead of a page, the problem is not the plugin. Google doesn’t deliver ads for this page. Sometimes that changes after some days, sometimes not. I noticed, that usually blogs with some autoblogging feature have that problem. Maybe Google doesn’t like that.

if you use adsense on top you have to open BOTH settings pages (adsense optimizer AND adsense on top) and press “save settings” at least one time to save the standard settings.

if you have the warning with adsense on top, deactivate the plugin and activate again. that can be a solution !

and dont forget to check the “adsense on top” settings ! also this ad type needs at least one size, that is checked in the “adsenseoptimizer” settings.

this error usually occurrs when you use a ad type in your blog, for which you specified no sizes.

to solve the problem first, delete the plugin as voodoo said.

if you don’t want to show ads on the homepage you simply can click it in the settings

(don’T show ad on these pages : …..)

the no-ads tag can be added in the html editor, where you edit an article or a page. not in the plugin editor !!!! but seems you already noticed…..

the plugin usually works. this sounds like some incompability between a plugi you already use and adsenseoptimizer. if you fnd out which one (by deactivating all other plugins and then testing one after the other.) i can reconstruct the error and maybe fix it. otherwise you can use a different plugin.

sorry for not answering so long, didnt see that there are new messages.

1. if you don’t want to have an ad on a page like contact, edit the page, change to html editor and ad <!–noad–> somewhere.

2. the plugin should work, no matter if you donate 5 or 0% ! must be something else. if it doesnt work it is normally a problem with some other plugin, i already fixed some of these incompatibilities, but i didnt know yet, there is a problem with this feedwordpress. i will check that. to reduce the priority should be no problem, so this is a wonderful solution. if i don’t find a problem with it, i will include that change in the next update ! thanks !!!

3. there was a problem with adsense for some days with the safari browser. on safari browers no adsense ad appeared, just a blank space. this was an adsense problem. it was at the time, when these postings have been posted. do you use the safari browser ???
