  • Perfect cheers that’s done it. Wonder why that was affected after updating and fine before. Strange!

Cheers. Here is the page it’s on https://scottishwaterwaystrust.org.uk/what-we-do/download-resources/

So when you click any of those download links on the page the pop up did come up before. You can still see it flash up half off the bottom of the page for a second.

Same issue for me, after the database upgrade. I have trigger on link click for a specific page. After upgrade clicking the link I see the popup for a split second and its gone again the class reverts back to diaply:none. When it flashes up for half a second its also halfway off the bottom of the page rather than in the middle, where it was before.

    Any ideas?

Ah it actually appears its a conflict with a plugin I have https://codecanyon.net/item/mobilenav-responsive-menu-plugin/5396355

When thats disabled works ok. The mobile menu doesnt apply to IE6 anyway so off to find a way to prevent it loading the plugin in old IE..

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

Ah unfortunately doesnt work, still just loads the postcode/town box and nothing else in IE8

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

Ah I see. It’s likely to be the api rather than the tag that’s preventing the map loading. I take it there’s no way around that?

Having said that I copied the post i made a while ago (same error) so the error will have come from an older version of the plugin. There is many repeats of the error but here is a lift of the logs today,

They come in daily and the more events in the cal the more of the errors,

Its only active on one site. I am on the latest version of the plugin as well, always updated on day or release.

Wondering now if network wide activation would make a difference, cant see why though.

Yeah same for me, sub sites just refresh on login page with no error when trying to log in after latest update.

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

Ah no problem, dont like installing too large numbers of plugins so good to have a 1 size fits all. Had previously used a match captcha for cf7, login and comments but a few users complained about it so moved to yours for the forms and wanted to replace math captcha rather than add another plugin to the mix.

    (@go3asy)

It would be worth leaving for a day or see and seeig if my errors appear.

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

Adding and editing doesn’t trigger the errors. They would come in sporadically through the night or whatever there was no pattern really. However since moving to UTC time it’s fixed. I can’t remember where but I found this out when reading another torun post with the same error using another plugin.

De activating other plugins did. It stop it either or with a base multi site install on standard template.

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

The issue appears to be a bug in the plugin.

I have switched my time setting in wordpress general settings to UTC rather than by city (london) and its stopped the errors.

Problem is UTC time is only correct for half the year here in the UK

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

This is not a one off I have been getting it regularly. Nobody can publicly post anything kn the site and it’s fairly locked down on the admin side. Only company IP address etc can access.

I never had it when first outing the plugin on our site which was only recently and shortly after we put the plugin on there was an update of which its on he latest then I noticed these logs. Any ideas?

    Thread Starter Dave

    (@go3asy)

I missed the actual error before the stack trace portion

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (LcAocQKiQYosn-01) at position 0 (L): The timezone could not be found in the database’ in /home/nhsforth/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/the-events-calendar.class.php:3555

My server is WHM/Cpanel and running London/Europe time and wordpress set to london so it shouldn’t be a timezone issue on the server side.
