I have cured this by uninstalling Max and re-installing fresh copy now everything works woopeee!

hi as a follow up to the request for help it is the home page that displays incorrectly all other pages appear to be OK. The home page slider and carousel do not work presenting a linear instead of horizontal display with main navigation menu missing.

I appreciate any help that may be given

hi hope someone can help please.
My site comes out incorrectly on an iPad, it works on mt tablet OK but looked at a friends iPad and the latest page entry overrides the home page.

Can someone please advise plug in so that site automatically recognises an iPad, smart phone or tablet and displays correctly for this theme please

Hi I think I have solved that mystery I have removed the coding from the plugin and have rebuilt the pages from where the menu disappeared, it looks like it is working but if you, or anyone else, would be good enough to check the site for visual presentation at http:/eac.eu.com/newsite and try a few pages and let me know I would appreciate it.

Hi Laura Again I am grateful for your kind help. However I do not appear to be making much progress.

The website I am trying to get correct is https://eac.eu.com/newsite

Up until a couple of days ago I had all of my pages apart from the home page with linking menus to items in that section by when publishing a page making it a child of the main header page. For example EAC History under Page Attributes showed About EAC as the Parent page. This created a menu on the right hand side of the page detailing all of the pages that were children of the main page for example if you can look at https://eac.eu.com/newsite/join-eac you should see a main page with a menu of pages down the right hand column.

Now everytime I edit a page I am losing the right hand side menu.

I have used the plugin Custom CSS it now reads

This all started trying to move the content in the left hand content area a little to the right to prevent the first letter half disappearing. Now I am in a bigger mess having lost my important menu’s down the right hand side

I appreciate I am asking an awful lot but can you have a look at this for me please and try to help me get these menu’s back

I shall be your humble servant for the rest of my life (it should be shorter than yours I haven’t got many birthdays left as one of my dear friends tells me each birthday :-)) Just don’t give me a job that needs kneeling my tin knees don’t fully bend as a result of MRSA but that is another story.

Many thanks for your expert help, not sure if I can handle this it is beyong my senior years I entered your coding but found some of my second columns in a few pages of the site disappeared took the coding out byt the second column did not come back.

It is me not you I know that but I need these second columns back

Many thanks Laura that has fixed that page. looking at the site the left hand boder makes the text very close to the edge of the page. Is there anyway I can change this for the whole site so that the text is a bit away from the edge of each page. You can tell I am technical from the wording here. ??

Yes I de-activated all plug ins – no difference. As I say above I activated Twenty Twelve theme and log in was normal straight to dashboard so that got me thinking that there was a corruption on the MAX Magazine theme files somewhere, I know not where. I have placed question on their section but have had not response as yet.

I do not fancy your idea about re-uploading all files and folders I am bound to make a mess of that and I have spent a long time getting this site ready for the charity for the fee that charities normally pay – rewards given in heaven:-)

Any ideas mighty One?

I have been able to get into my dashboard by entering a page url However I visited the site at https://eac.eu.com/newsit to find that all the pages have a mirror image of the page under the actual content. Does anyone have a reason for this please I have not come across it before.

Hi ABCDiamond That is just what I was looking for I have now ammended my contact 7 form and the requested dates are fed back in the email for admin to action.

Not too sure if I can handle this much complication though.

Your plug in gives the opportunity of creating a date tag in the drop down menu ‘Create a Tag’ are you saying that even though it does this you cannot use the field created to enter a date and have it sent as part of the email transmitted with all the other detail that is completed on the form?

If this is so I will have to do without collecting a date which important to us for renewals, etc. This would make the whole Contact form unusable for us which is a shame as I have created about 10 forms using the plug-in. Unless I collect the date as individual fields for month and year, if that works.

Have you any other ideas please.
