Yes, I suffered a hack too, and to my mind it happened as WP 5.8 was updated…. literally within a very short period… Any connection??

I find it useless…….tried everything in settings etc. on three sites, still doesn’t stop spammers!

I cannot believe that any designer would design a page header that covers 3/4 of the screen…. WHY?

How to delete the page header please?

Cache where, in my Chrome browser? No. Site is new today, I can delete your plugin in cpanel reload a post that I am trying to make and the plugin is then back in the plugins file. I have renamed google analytics because it has a cache…..made no difference.
This has wasted hours of my time….. it’s crazy. I dont even know where it came from.

I too have virtually the same problem and cannot find an answer.
Firstly to say that this site had been hacked before me loading up to a new server.
My problem is this
I can go to some pages and the editor is fine, showing all content on text and visual.
Go to other pages and nothing is showing, blank content with word count 0.
Neither text or visual is showing. But web page is fine online.

I did have a problem with TEXT and VISUAL links not being visible but solved that though phpmyadmin by changing one code.
So, any ideas….. it is so very frustrating because I have links on these pages which I urgently need to change but cant….

OKAY, I have just found a workaround…..

Below editor, there are the revisions that you have made in past. So I looked at one and tried to restore it….. same problem…. so then when looking at revision, copied the text html, went back to editor and pasted into editor which worked, I updated and all looks good!…:-)

Having same problem.
With aiowps activated cannot go to any other page on dashboard, get error, “This page isn’t working
jannafabian.es is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”
If I rename aiowps in Cpanel, then dash is working.
It seems that there is a conflict with Contact Form 7, if I deactivate it works okay.
I need CF7 so what can be done?

Hi, I have the same problem, with debug to true I am told that the username and pass are correct, cannot connect to database.
The prefix for database on phpmyadmin is exactly the same at that in wp-config.
I tried as you suggested above without success.
I have only the one plugin on this new site.
Can you suggest a reason and a fix.

I was hacked yesterday and MonsterInsights was installed and I then got this message from WP
Warnings:

* The Plugin “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights” needs an upgrade (6.2.6 -> 7.0.6).

!!!! Also two other files installed xxx.php and db.php
So be warned………….

BTW I went to apply your code for wp-config and it was already there………. so obviously doesn’t work.

MONSTER INSIGHTS Google analytics.
I was recently hacked on web site and the hacker loaded this plugin onto my site!!
PLUS other files like xxx.php and db.php.
Obviously some kind of backdoor….. and yet Wordfence sent me this notice….

Hi all. I have the same problem except that I only have one product category NOT displaying products, there are 19 products shown on the shop links page, but I have around 25 categories that are displaying all products okay. Why would this be?
It’s driving me mad….!!!

Thanks for quick reply….. BUT, yes, I can do this with a widget on various page positions, but are you saying I have to put links into the form for every position? What about the 10 placements on the settings menu? I would have thought that links would automatically be transferred to all the buttons once given, but they are not…..there are no links on these other placed buttons…… again, unless I am missing something…..!
