  • I am having a similar issue. I have 1 digital/downloadable product for sale on my website. I just made my first sale, and the customer emailed me to let me know that when she attempted to download it from the link sent to her via email, it brought her to a page that says “Sorry, you have reached your download limit for this file. Go to shop”

My product had a download limit of “1”, so I deleted that to allow Unlimited Delivery (in case that had anything to do with it), and I changed the price to $0 so I could try to purchase myself and see what happened.

I purchased it, and when I received the email myself, I clicked to download and was brought to the same page she mentioned. Why is this happening? It should allow the customer to download, especially once I enabled an Unlimited Delivery – so I am not sure why it would ever say I reached the download limit. I will be manually sending her files now, but I need this fixed asap.

    Hi Beth,

Thanks, I have contacted them. I have continued to troubleshoot through studio press forms (since I am impatient) and I somehow broke the code for my site. I was replacing something in the function.php (I saved the piece I deleted, just in case), but after saving, it gave me this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘add_filter’ (T_STRING) in /home2/marissam/public_html/wp-content/themes/runway/functions.php on line 57

I cannot get back into the WP Dashboard to get back to the Editor to change it back. What can I do? I am at the point where I need someone to help me to go in and fix this all for me. Are you familiar with this?

    Thank you!
