    Hey @lh514,

You would place the CSS code snippet into the “Additional CSS” panel within the Customizer.

We’ve gone ahead and pushed out a 1.1.3 release, which should now be showing the pagination links on mobile devices. Feel free to update to 1.1.3 (when it’s available here on www.ads-software.com) and if you are still encountering issues, feel free to post back here and we can dive back in.

    Thanks again!

We followed up on Twitter. Looks like this is specifically related to Wordfence being run on Windows. Per their docs, Windows isn’t fully supported. ^Jesse

    Wordfence system requirements

When you’re installing WP it should ask you what directory you want WP installed on. Leave it as “/” which is the root. If it says “/ANYTHING HERE” it will then install and create whatever directory text is in there.

To Install WordPress on Your Hosting Account
Log in to your Account Manager.
    Click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Manage.
    Go to the Applications tab.
In the WordPress section, next to Install, click the downward-facing arrow, and then click Install (Custom).
Select the domain name you want to use, enter the directory (leave this part as “/” for your goal of having it just on abc.com and not abc.com/wordpress) where you want to install WordPress, and then click Install.

I hope this helps you get the WP installed to the directory you want! ^Colby

Is this all resolved? Or did you need us to dig into this still with you? ^Colby

I know the transfer took place a while ago, but happy to help if we can. We definitely don’t block or limit you in whats installed (other than like RonnieG said some plugins that misbehave or are security risks). If you have all the content backed up (which we always recommend you do), I would try a new install on a test or staging environment and then loading the backed up content into that and see if that resolves your issues. So if that woks you’ll know you’re safe to proceed on the live site. ^Colby

Thanks for reaching out via Twitter. It’s still a pretty puzzling issue. It sounds like both databases are synchronizing somehow. Here’s what I’d suggest:

    1. Make a backup of both sites (I’d suggest manually saving website files and exporting a copy of the database via phpMyAdmin).
    2. Disable the backup plugin you used (both sites).
    3. Try updating the menu on your primary site to point to the correct URL for one of your menu items. You mentioned seeing a 404, but I was able to access the main site using the correct URL.
    4. If the menu stays the same on your development site, you’ll know it’s the plugin that was causing the issue.

If the menu changes on your development site, then there’s still something else linking them. At that point I’d suggest trying to change the database password for your primary site (support can help with that) to see if that breaks the connection. You can test if it did by using the same method described above.

Once you figure out how to disconnect the databases, you can then work on updating the current site to change all your URLs back. There are tutorials online that explain how you can do this using plugins or phpMyAdmin to make the process faster. Hope that helps. ^Jesse

Sorry. What was the user name that you used. I’ll be able to find the message if you provide that. ^Jesse

That sounds really strange. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head that would do that from our end. Would you feel comfortable sharing the domain here so we can take a look? Otherwise, you can also send us a private message on our Facebook page or follow to DM us on Twitter. ^Jesse

    Hey websiter123,

Typically core files in Managed WordPress are un-editable. Based on what you have described, you are correct in the fact that you can’t edit those specific files. However we would need to get your account details to be 100% of what you’re trying to do. In Managed WordPress the file is owned by root, so you will not be able to edit it.

    Kindly,

    Thanks Kitlad,

Glad to hear it is currently working. Thanks for the details, I have passed them over to my Managed WordPress Team for further review.

    Kindly,

    Colby

Also if you want to send the file example you’re trying to upload via dropbox, more than happy to take it and test it via external connection.

    Kitlad,

Thanks for that. We are looking into it. My Managed WP Team needs some more info from you if you are willing to supply it:

What internet package did you buy from your ISP?
    What is your IP?
    Where are you geophysically located?
What is a filename example you’re trying to upload and did it actually succeed?
Are you using SFTP or WP-admin?
Are you talking about the upload itself or the post processing? Where WP goes and looks for meta-data, becasue those look like the same process.

    Thanks!

    Colby
