Yeah, WP is kinda difficult. I’m like you. I have the lite version. I wonder if the auto update “fixes” things it sees are different, like a change on the .css pages. I’m trying to make it look like a real magazine myself and am struggling because I can’t break up the page the way I want to. Every page has its own subject instead of a traditional magazine. I’d be curious to see what differences the paid version has. Naturally, they won’t provide support on the lite version which is designed to force us to get the paid with support. Great marketing plan there.

As far as I know, it should let you keep the changes but…. Best of luck getting the changes to work, I’m about to go back and write my own code and create my own website and pitch WP. That’s a tough one. I can change my font sizes in WP dashboard, You should be able to make those changes in your files if you have your own domain like I do, otherwise, the free account may not let you do that. I think for anyone to help you further, you need to tell us whether it’s a free account or a paid account through WP or if you own your own domain name. That will tell people what access you have.
