Similiar here with Turkish translations added via Loco.
And also another or same problem for the default submit button.
Hello @kevinb, thanks for your support. It seems the “select” problem has been solved.
A few possible problems on which I must make more tests to submit a new ticket:
- I couldn’t get Loco translations of 2 default WP statuses and some other button labels work with the plugin.
- If classic editor is selected in the plugin’s settings, the label of WP’s default “Update” button is empty; if auto detection is selected the update button is ok, but the old permissions “go for pro” warning is shown (actually this is not a problem.)
@kevinb, I missed one of your replies:
Can you tell me if the missing custom statues are ones that you added to Planner, or just the Turkish translations of built-in Planner statuses (Pitch, Assigned, In Progress) ?
I tried all custom statuses came with installation. That didin’t work either, listed in the quick edit box, not listed in the publish box.
I added the “option” html tag of a custom status inside the select box (via F12) and submitted the form. It worked, saved the option. So, I think the problem is the html output.
@kevinb, @stevejburge thank you for your help. I will be waiting for the solution.
@kevinb,
I use Avada Builder. It includes a classic builder option. As I deactivated the builder, my custom statuses appeared in the Gutenberg’s Publish Box. The conflict seems to be with Avada on my side.As an additional info, the custom statuses are shown correctly on the “Content Calender”.
WP version is 6.4.2. I added a new test status and draged it into the top section. It didn’t appear on the publish box too.
The statuses are shown as expected on quick edit box. This makes me think that the problem may be a bug.
And the “go for pro” warning came back again as I reactivated Permissions plugin.
- The De-clutter option is unchecked (as default). I also tested as checked.
- Role settings are correct. I am admin and “admin” is already forced to be checked on all statuses.
- Type settings on statuses are correct. We have one post type, so the setting is forced to be “all posts”
- Type setting settings is correct. The only post type that we have is checked
@stevejburge, yes I use loco translation. But these two phrase are the default translation of WP.
I didn’t update PublishPress Statuses’ translation file yet, so the English phrases still exist. (I had updated them on Planner verison before, but they didn’t integrate with Statuses Plugin)
@kevinb, Disabling Permissions didn’t work. I still see only two default options. But the “go for pro” warning gone. Which had made me think that the plugin has a pro version <- (@stevejburge ?? )
@stevejburge, the 2 visible statuses are the default WP statuses: “Draft” and “Pending Review” on publish box of post edit page. They appear with Turkish translation; I apologize for the confusion.
@kevinb, that is what I was thinking for. I’ll be back.
Didn’t work ??
