I tried rolling back to 7.8.0 tonight, however, the database is unable to be rolled back without hassle and on a site that has orders coming through all times of the day/night it just isn’t viable unfortunately. Needless to say, simply rolling back the version did not help the issue for me so it’s definitely in the database itself.

Commenting on this for visibility as we share the same issue.

My host can’t find any issues in the backend other than a small theme related problem which would not cause the 503 errors that I am experiencing. It seems we are at the mercy of the devs to take this seriously.

I am going to make my own post and refer to this one in it. I suggest we all do the same so they realise it is not an isolated incident. I wonder if it is worth also posting it on the GitHub issues page as well?

@gsqwebcoorindator – thanks for your reply, it’s nice (albeit frustrating) to know I am not the only one getting the 503’s as well. It puts my mind at ease a little bit. Could you please update here if you end up figuring it out? I have just contacted my host to see if they can see anything in the logs on their end, if they find anything I will report back.

I’m having this issue on 7.9.0 while randomly opening a product to edit. Sometimes it appears just after the initial load and other times it appears after hitting update (I’m using chrome if that matters). I tried increasing memory_limit and enabled the modules recommended however the problem still persists. I’m also getting random 503 errors after hitting update on a product, not sure if the two are related or not.

Your site is not loading as secure to me, is it possible you have had a security breach?

I had to do this today and I am pretty sure it’s related to some kind of new exploit. If you are comfortable using PHPMyadmin in your cpanel, you can optimise/repair there. It worked for me. If you google “optimise repair table phpmyadmin” you will find something to help guide you if you are unfamiliar.

I turned OFF crossfade images in avada options and the problem went away.
