in the scan detailed activity section.

I managed to get in by deactivating optimize press in the ftp, but when I save a change to a page it goes to a white screen again. this si what I do not like about WP. no customer support.

I am not smart enough to make changes to the core files code.

does not work in any browser

just found that optimize press was deactivated somehow.

can i look somewhere to see if a plug in was deleted ?

I have no idea if it was a plug in or not. all I know is there used to be 3 buttons over the edit window when I would go in to edit the page. the first button says “add media” the second button said “add element” and the thrid button says “marketing”. The “add media”and “marketing” buttons are still there, but the “add element” button is gone.

when I go into the edit page, there used to be a tab between add media and marketing in the visual editor that said add element. that is where I added both the youtube video player and an opt-in code to my blog. both the embedded videos and the opt-in are just appearing as code, not the actual item.

Well the site has been up for 9 months and this just started this week.

thanks for the info. I am still a bit lost and confused about how to get into the site to fix things. can you give me a starting point? when I go to wp-admin, all i get is a blank white page. I do not know how to get into the page to start fixing.
