Optimally, open the zip locally. That will create the folder structure. Then upload the parent folder to the plugin directory.

That is very weird. It should be there.

What files have you uploaded? Those from a previous working version?

If you are in the plugins’ folder, the name is: contact-form-7. It is in the plugin folder root.

If you aren’t there, you find the plugin folder:

/wp-content/plugins

If you have FTP access, you can navigate to the plugins folder and rename the CF7 plugin folder. Maybe add an underscore to the beginning of the name. That will disable the plugin. Then you can log in again.

In the same way, you can remove the plugin completely and upload the previous version, which worked fine.

thank you for your plugin. I think it’s a great idea. I installed it yesterday and gave it a try using Dropbox. As some other users reported, no files are getting created. I just installed the new version (1.8.0) and the issue is still there. Everything seems right but the files won’t show at Dropbox.
