My solution was to just delete Yoast SEO plugin and that solved the issue for me. In Israel’s reply – he seemed to lead me in the exact right direction, so I assume that the issue is with SEO and TEC.
I’m not sure it is worth trying to attempt to reproduce the issue, but I am willing to try – if you feel that there might be something not quite right in the Content Control plugin.
Well well – look at that! Thank you!
I deactivated the Yoast SEO plugin and then reset my Content Control settings back to where they were and everything works again. Is this something I should be reporting to Yoast SEO?

In reply to: [Simply Static - The WordPress Static Site Generator] Gallery Not WorkingUnfortunately, I redesigned my client’s website from scratch and did not include the Gallery. I trust that your suggestion will work in any future endeavours I take. Thank you for your reply Scott, I appreciate all your work on this wonderful plugin.
I have an update on this! What better way to hide WordPress than install it on my home computer! I was having an issue with WAMPserver whereby none of my images were being included. I see that it was because a bunch of backslashes existed giving 404 codes. The solution just posted here.
…fixed the problem! Thank you to @vprevostleclerc. Looking forward to having this officially integrated ??

In reply to: [Simply Static - The WordPress Static Site Generator] Temp files issueOops – of course for directories it would be in the 7’s ??
Hopefully the developer can answer. Mine worked fine with 755 directory permissions.

In reply to: [Simply Static - The WordPress Static Site Generator] Gallery Not WorkingHmm. I wonder if it’s because it’s using shortcode?

In reply to: [Simply Static - The WordPress Static Site Generator] Temp files issueYou likely won’t have access to create directories in that directory, especially if you are on a shared host. Just configure the location to be somewhere in your directory structure above your website. For instance if your username on your host is “wallyworld”. You might have a directory structure like /home/wallyworld/public_html or /home/wallyworld/www. So just create a directory called /home/wallyworld/tmp (if not already there) and then configure the plugin to use that directory.
