I decided to deactivate it, and find another fast-loading left-float plugin with no counters.
I’m still searching for the answers. Here are some similar problems that may be relevant. https://www.ads-software.com/search/gray+lines+above+header?forums=1
I just deactivated it, and both problems disappeared. Then I activated it, and both problems reappeared.
BTW, the search box borders are missing in FF, IE, Chrome, and Safari. And the 3 lines show above the top of the header in FF, below the top of the header in IE, but not in Chrome or Safari.
Here is the nav code…
/* @group navbar */
.nav, .widgettitle {
/* font-family : <?php echo $WPFolio_headline_font ?>;This is handled in header.php and editable in Current Theme Options in the WordPress dashboard*/
font-size: 1em;
color: #545454;
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: bold;
padding: 5px 30px 10px;
}.nav ul, .widgettitle ul {
float: left;
padding-right: .2em;
}.nav li, widgettitle li {
list-style: none;
display: inline;
}.nav a, link {
border: 1px solid #c0c0c0;
color: #545454;
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: normal;
padding: .2em;
margin: .2em;}.nav a:active {
border: 1px solid #c0c0c0;/*color: <?php echo $WPFolio_highlight_color; ?>;This is handled in header.php and editable in Current Theme Options in the WordPress dashboard*/
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: normal;
padding: .2em;}.nav a:hover {
border: 1px solid #c0c0c0;/*color : <?php echo $WPFolio_highlight_color; ?>;This is handled in header.php and editable in Current Theme Options in the WordPress dashboard*/
text-decoration: none;
font-weight: normal;
padding: .2em;}/* @end */
Any ideas on how to solve this?
P.S. I’m using WordPress 3.5.1

In reply to: W3 Total Cache With GeolocationHi Frederick,
Thanks for the reply. I didn’t ask him.
I’ve noticed that my country’s shipping rate is correct 95% of the time. But the other 5% it shows the wrong country for me. Any ideas why?

In reply to: W3 Total Cache With GeolocationSpecifically, I wonder if it’s wise to change the settings or disable one type of cache (Page Cache?)

In reply to: Custom Image Cropped in WPfolio?Can anyone please help me with this? Thank you! Greg
Hi Alchymyth,
I’m sorry for not replying earlier, but I just found time to make your changes. Thank you very much! Your first 2 changes worked, however the 3rd one didn’t because I communicated it wrongly. I want to increase/widen the line width on all pages. Do you (or does anyone else here) know how to do that?
Thanks again,
Greg

In reply to: Why Are My URLs Changed?Chris, I fixed the problem by selecting Date and Name-Based, instead of Custom. I have zero idea how it ever changed in the first place. Thank you for all your advice. Greg

In reply to: Why Are My URLs Changed?Strange, but I’m 90% that my previous Permalinks setting was Date and Name-Based, not Custom like it is now. But, when I try to select Date and Name-Based, it automatically reverts to Custom.
Maybe it’s time to upgrade. Do you know anyone I can hire to do the upgrade, and fix the Permalinks?

In reply to: Why Are My URLs Changed?OK, I’m in Options/General, but there are no settings. Is this what you’re looking for: Options/Permalinks/Common Options/Custom Structure: /%year%/%monthnum%/?y%/%postname%/
