We just released a new version with updated readme explaining how to configure the service account on non-GCP environment.

The trick is to configure the object default permission, not just the permission of the bucket.

You can click the vertical three dots on the right as shown in the image:

Then click Add item
Then choose User in the ENTITY field, then type allUsers in the NAME field.

Click Save

After this operation, newly uploaded images should be publicly available.
