Not sure about 000webhost but at 1and1, I once had this issue but resolved it when I added

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

at the top of my .htaccess before the wordpress section and it allowed me to upgrade anything automatically from the admin interface.

I would suggest turning off the wp-auto upgrade plugin before trying to install one from the plugin installer page. It might be causing the problem.

I can see the preview button when writing a new post. Is that what you were referring to?

In addition, a plugin might be causing this problem, but I’m not sure.

Not happening with my WordPress 2.7 RC1 install. Tried it on FF3.0.4, pasting text from MS Word 2003, and wasn’t able to duplicate the issue. So far, I’m very happy with what has become of WordPress. I have been testing this since pre-beta. Any more details you can offer?

Just checked again, and it doesn’t save the options in 2.7-almost-beta. Must be a db compatibility issue. Anyway, great plugin!

This plugin rocks. Any plans of making it compatible with the upcoming WordPress 2.7? I tested it with the nightly and when I click on the Create button to create the mobilepress table, it says the table was created, but it still shows the notification that the mobilepress table still does not exist and asks me if I want to create it. The create button is still there. No problems in saving the options though, but I haven’t tested it on a mobile browser.

Anyways, this plugin is something I look forward to adding to my roster of permanent plugins I use.

Might be a conflict another plugin. Try deactivating all the plugins and activating wp-slimstat-ex and then reactivate one by one all the other plugins to find out which plugin conflicts with wp-slimstat-ex.
