@machii28 Double check if you temporarily removed our plugin
2. Navigate to file manager -> /wp-content/plugins/ directory and temporarily delete wp-letsencrypt-ssl folder
@machii28 Please provide your site url
We have added special NOTE mentioning “Enable HTTPS” should be used ONLY after you follow the instruction video and successfully install the generated SSL certificate on your cPanel. Looks like this might have happened because you have enabled it before installing the certificate on your cPanel.
Login to your cPanel:
1. navigate to phpmyadmin -> your WordPress database -> wp_options table
1a. change site_url and home values to https:// protocol.2. Navigate to file manager -> /wp-content/plugins/ directory and temporarily delete wp-letsencrypt-ssl folder
@junglecayman Can you try using a different email address
Hello Kurt,
As stated on our plugin description, our plugin doesn’t support Windows server yet. It’s built for Linux server only.
Hello,
This might have happened If you have enabled https before installing ssl certificate on your cPanel.
Go to phpmyadmin on your cPanel, navigate to your WordPress database and wp_options table. Change your site url and WordPress url to https:// protocol instead of https://
Let us know if that fixes the issue
Thank you for motivating us towards future developments with another great review!
Thank you for the awesome review!
Glad it was of great help for you ?? Thanks for the awesome review
@rapra2 @lesterlim Please try our latest release v2.5.1. If you still notice invalid response, your server might be blocking the request.
@wearitboldly This is definitely not causing from WP LetsEncrypt. Try removing border=0 from above image tag & give a space between ” and title=
If the issue still persists, try disabling “force SSL” feature from “why no padlock” tab in WP LetsEncrypt plugin page. Let us know which solution solved the issue..

@rapra2 Your server might be blocking outgoing CURL requests. Pls contact your hosting support & ask them to allow external requests
@reddyrajashekar This is a server side security implementation that avoids crawler bots from reading the content. The verification code does exists when you check above HTTP challenge file url in browser but if you try to access it as a bot using some tools like onlinecurl.com – you can see the noscript tag is pushed by your server instead of actual verification code.
You will have to contact your hosting support to disable this noscript based bot protection as Let’s Encrypt needs to verify this as a bot.
Unfortunately servers with certain security restrictions that lead to ‘parse error reading JWS’ cannot by resolved by WP LetsEncrypt at this moment. We will let you know soon after we find a solution.
