I have the same problem

In the “Global Options” section you can “Deactivate” the “Favorite Actions” and the “Admin Notices” for those “WP Roles”. Also you can “Deactivate” plugin options in the “Menu Options” section for those “WP Roles”.

No, there is not an option in Adminimize. I actually found a function that works great.

The “Edit Page” only disappears if the user goes to the dashboard. If only the Admin Bar is on the “Edit Page” is there and allows the user to edit the page.

I received this email and I’m confused why it inferred that nothing needed to be done. Adminimize is broken and needs to be fixed! The problem outlined in this post is only part of the problems with it, it also does not give you control of the admin bar as advertised; you can’t disable the edit function of a page/post from the bar itself. Maybe testing it with the current version of WP would help identify all the bugs hanging out in the app. Here is the email, I don’t know who is Iamhere…
