I am rather confused. That link does not address multisite. The person posting before you @remco Tolsma said “We’ll look into it and come back to you as soon as possible”. And what comes back is a reference to somewhere else where the issue of multisite isn’t mentioned and to mark this issue as resolved? What is up with that?

Please, is it so hard to answer the question about multisite? Is it or is it not multisite compatible?

Second, why create a menu page with nothing in it, and not tell people about it?

I would be interested. This functionality is important for me.

I would like to see an update of this plugin. If the developer isn’t interested, which he doesn’t seem to be, maybe you could upload a fork of the plugin that works.

Yes, it would be nice if there were someone who cared to respond. I didn’t think it was a complicated question. I apologize if it was.

It would be wonderful if there were a developer who was willing to put something like what the OP suggested. Allowing tasks to be claimed and the task locked would be a great feature.

Sounds reasonable. I have no idea what else it could be. I have no issue with any other plugin updating or installing via www.ads-software.com. Very odd..

Okay. So I had it set up correctly. That is a relief. I will check the functionality.

The issue then isn’t that it isn’t working (based on this conversation), but that the Memberships Menu is showing up in the toolbar at the top on subsites when it actually shouldn’t be there.

I do see this remove_action('admin_bar_menu', 'pmpro_admin_bar_menu'); in the pmpro-network-subsite.php file. But it isn’t removing the toolbar menu. I guess that would be the real issue.

Personally, I would like to have the option to turn off the pmpro_admin_bar_menu altogether. But for now, when it is supposed to be being removed, it isn’t.

Yes, I am Network Admin (Super Admin).
I am not wanting users to be able to create their own site so the pmpro-network.php file shouldn’t be needed (from my perspective). Unless it is required. I didn’t realize it is if it is.

I do have a multisite configuration which I am the only admin for all sites. I do want the members to be members of all sites and content be restricted based on the levels created by PMPro. I have the default wp_ prefix. Could this addon be written to automatically use the prefix if not default? I thought I saw where current plugins actually automatically detect the db prefix. I didn’t even think to check to see if this one didn’t.

I have been trying to test this on a local install, but if needed I can go to a hosted site to test it. Before putting it on my live site.

Based on what you have said, I don’t understand why the addon won’t work the way it is. I am using the default db prefix for the test site.

I am using WP 3.8.1 and I am using the current version of PMPro.

I do not have the exact folder that update had a problem with.

However, with the last two (now) updates the same issue has been happening. I just tried deleting the plugin and then going through the WoordPress.org install via my dashboard to add the plugin again and I get the following (which is exactly the same issue as with attempting to update)

Could not copy file. image-pro-wordpress-image-media-management-and-resizing-done-right/src/thumb/docs/phpthumb.changelog.txt

When I brought this up you had the update to .29 now it is .30 and it is exactly the same issue.

I fail to see where my server would be having issues with a fresh install of your plugin. I have no issues with any other plugin updating or installing.

The issue was resolved with the previous update prior to .29 where it referred to something to do with tinymce by me using ftp. However, the point is, why am I having to use ftp on your plugin and not others. I can download and upload plugins without having issues. That’s fine, but why is there an issue with your plugin using the WordPress update and not other plugins?

And I cannot even install your plugin without using ftp because trying to copy the file phpthumb.changelog.txt stops the update and the fresh install. Could it possibly have to do with the multiple dots in the name rather than using dashes? I don’t know.
