I’m using the viewlevel plugin, which works great. But it’s hard for me to figure out which user levels everyone should have to give them access to only the posts I want them to see. It would be a lot easier to just have the specific topic filters instead of the broad user level access.

The Limit Categories plugin might work if it would apply to post viewing instead of the editing aspect. Like user levels 3, 5 and 6 can see b,c, g categories and levels 9, 1 and 2 can see categories a, d, e. Something like that…

Hrm. If I wanted to use ViewLevel though, I’d have to set the users at different User Levels. But I would still want to not give them any admin ability. So Joe is at level 6, he can see level 6 posts but if I give him level 6 status he can do level 6 admin activities. Is there any way to turn those admin abilities off so Joe can have a user level at 6 but not have the admin access? Hopefully that makes sense…

Does anyone have a copy of Oscars Netflix plugin/hack/phpthingy they could upload or send me? His server seems to be down and I’m too impatient to wait for it to come back up. Thanks.
