I have found a way of making the message about the language updates go away.
1. Deactivate Elementor Pro
2. Run WordPress updates
3. Reactivate Elementor ProThe repeated request for language updates disappears. Whoopee..!
I am getting the same issue with Elementor. The translations need updating. So, I updated them, only to be told they need updating again. And so it goes on and on. The files ARE updated – but WordPress thinks they are not updated. This only happens with Elementor translations.

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Directory] Stopped Showing Entries after UpdateI am getting the same problems with the latest versions of this plugin, the latest Gravity Forms and the latest WordPress. Changing theme makes no difference.
Rolling back is not an option.
This needs fixing…!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Very poor – this is not even beta software…I have the health check plugin anyway. I have tested Gutenberg on three sites, all with different themes. I have disabled all plugins. The problem persists.
It looks like you may have “fixed” the issue but only for default WordPress themes.
That clearly is not good enough as millions of sites do not use those themes.

In reply to: [ManageWP Worker] Doesn’t work with GutenbergDon’t worry. Solved it. It was a cache issue…!
As I said in my first message – there is nothing else loading the GA script. It is not hardcoded either. It can only be added by your plugin. So there is an error somewhere.
In the meantime, sadly for you, I have found another plugin that does the job properly.
The answer from Cookiebot that they have to cover their costs of scanning a full site makes sense – if you don’t understand technology. The scanning should be automated. It is not (I hope) being done by human beings, but by a bot. The only cost was the development of the bot and subsequent bandwidth charges. The marginal cost of scanning a full site compared with a small site is insignificant. If Cookiebot thinks the costs are higher and thereby justifies their extortionate pricing, then either they are doing this in a rather cumbersome and cost-inducing way or they need to get their calculators out and re-do their sums.
What they say is true about the need to scan every page. But once you have produced the software to scan one page, making it scan millions of pages adds hardly anything to the costs.

In reply to: Random images being deletedNo I have removed cache plugins completely, not just deactivated. Plus I have removed the cache folder. The media is deleted from the media folder. But I am not deleting it….!

In reply to: Random images being deletedThey are uploaded through the media library. The original files and the various sizes created by WordPress remain OK.
What is deleted is the specific size created for the blog post featured image.

In reply to: Random images being deletedYes, done that. Server antivirus/spam checker says no problems.
Ok – don’t worry – I have solved it.
Here’s what I did.
I created a template with a search box and everything else switched off (headers etc) using an Elementor full width post template.
Then I inserted the shortcode for that template into the GP Hook position I wanted.
A quick bit of styling and all OK now.
Sorry to have bothered you before I had thought this through.

In reply to: [SEOPress - On-site SEO] From Yoast to SeoPressI have installed SEOPress, used the import from Yoast option, but nothing happens. The icon spins around for a minute or two showing something is happening. But when I check the post meta data, nothing has been imported on any post.
I don’t think it is a theme issue. You will see another thread I have started here. The plugin appears to have stopped working properly on WordPress 4.8.1. Something is clearly wrong.
I am having the same as you Boris. On pages it works, but on posts it doesn’t. So, it does appear that something in the upgrade to 4.8.1 affected this plugin. It needs updating it would seem.
I did manage to get it working after some trouble. I deleted my htaccess file and created a new one and then it started working OK.
