Yes. That is correct. We also save copies of complete merges in the admin side of the plugin on the newer paid versions

The instant download shortcode goes on the confirmation page not the email. If you want to email the form you need to setup the email in the plugin under the merge.

I’m not really sure actually, but I think most likely not. The issue is with the merged fields, and how JavaScript is processed on a PDF.

My recommendation would be to do all your calculations in gravity forms and populate the result to the PDF.

This function isn’t available yet, but should be shortly. We are completely rewriting the pluginto add a few workflow upgrades, so that we can do things like this. This functionality has been one of our most requested features, but in he current version it’s not possible.

You need to test that out to verify your setup is successfully completing merges to rule that out first. I advise you to watch our YouTube videos. The plugin work, so it’s likely your server settings. If you still need help consider upgrading to the paid version for full support.

I would suggest you make this two forms. 1st form complete the PDF, and use the shortcodes/instant download delivery from the Gravity Form confirmation page. On the confirmation page give the users your instructions to download, and sign, then at the bottom of that page have a link to the next gravity form that has the user upload the PDF

That is not how signatures work. It is documented how they signature field works. At this time, you cannot control where a signature field is placed, it must be placed on the “signer” page

it’s clearly documented on our site and in our signing workflow videos exactly how signatures work. Our approach is the exact same as any paid eSign app, like approveme, adobe sign, right signature and so on. All of the eSign platforms collect a signature and append it to the document on a signing page. Our plugin works the exact same way.

The reason for this is how pdfs work adobe does not allow for a method of placing a signature on a signature field programmatically.

At this time there is no way to add a signature dir Columbus to a specific page only as an add on page. This is a PDF limitation with adobe. We have investigated options to work around this and accomplish an alternative, but in th current build ther is not a way

The plugin does read your file, so it seems like you have some sort of configuration issue.

Please watch the video again. I made this video specifically for you. If you do not have fields on your “form fields” on your PDF the plugin cannot find fields.
