In reply to: [Chosen] How to increase verion number in style.cssIt’s not even about the Ruffie theme. I can’t even replace it with my old theme or access my site in anyway. I would rather install or upload a different theme but I don’t have the ability to do that. Even if there was a problem with the Ruffie theme, I should be able to upload a different one, but I can’t access my dashboard or the site at all

In reply to: [Chosen] How to increase verion number in style.cssHello,
I am getting the same message. I do not have access to my admin page either. I keep getting the message Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/20/8955120/html/wp-content/themes/ruffie/functions.php on line 244
I have tried going to www.ads-software.com and wordpress.com and have logged into both and still have not been able to fix the problem. I have no access to my dashboard and uploading the zip file returns the upgrade message. Please help!

In reply to: [Elbee Elgee] [Theme: Elbee Elgee] Choose page to poostWonderful… how do I create a category page? Meaning separate pages for each category so that the posts show up on the specific category page? The plug-in was a big help… Now if I can just create a menu and pages for the categories =)

In reply to: Remove Author and Date in Pages only in Elbee Elgee themeI uploaded and activated the elbee child theme, activated it, went to the function.php tab and all there was is: <?php
I then added: remove_action( ‘lblg_after_itemtext’, ‘lblg_post_info’ ); before and after it and it did not work… I also added: remove_action( ‘lblg_after_itemtext’, ‘lblg_post_info’ );
function npat_unplug_lblg_post_info(){
remove_action( ‘lblg_after_itemtext’, ‘lblg_post_info’ );
add_action( ‘lblg_after_itemtext’, ‘lbc_post_info’ );
}
add_action( ‘init’, ‘npat_unplug_lblg_post_info’);function lbc_post_info(){
if( !is_page() ) { ?>
<span class=”postcats”>Posted in <?php the_category(‘, ‘); ?></span>
<?php } ?>
<?php if( is_single() ){?>
<span class=”posttags”><?php the_tags(‘Tagged as: ‘,’,’); ?></span>
<?php }
}
Before and after, and saved it and it still did not work… on the older version of elbee elgee you didn’t have to do all of this… any suggestions on what’s missing? everytime I follow your directions, it doesnt work on my site…Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Remove Author and Date in Pages only in Elbee Elgee themeI uploaded the child theme you said on my godaddy host and cut and paste the lines from above and still was notable to get rid of the posted by and date on each page… I was able to do it before without uploading the chil theme you suggest and then the template was updated. Any suggestions on how I can really remove this stuff or locate thechild theme without uploading the one you gave us?

In reply to: [Elbee Elgee] Elbee Elgee and All in One SEOHi,
I can’t seem to get a welcome message on the home page or front page and could really use some assistance… I have seen some demos that have a welcome message on the homepage without the comment, time stamp, date, author, and the rest…. can anyone help figure out how to add a welcome message to my home page?
