How would I be able to set wordpress up to go to the server 404 instead of the 404 which is in my theme? I’ve contacted my hosting company and they said it would be best to have wordpress go to the server 404, but i’m not sure how if I delete the 404 page off my server then it just takes you to the index.

Because when I check the traffic it is being requested from random posts and not one specfic place like digg, and it is a just a background image and is the largest image file on the site.

Do you think using the htaccess tools would help stop this? Thanks

Is this a common thing? and do you think my site was picked specifically? Or is this more of a random thing?

I’m looking for a site which I can host my own video files and users will be able to upload them directly to the site and then show them under their author page.

Any suggestions?
