Perfect. Thank you so much, Riza.
Jonathan
In the end, it seems to be some sort of corruption in the post I was choosing to duplicate. Somehow, the PublishPress plugin was getting title information, not from the blog’s title or even the blog’s URL, but the title of the post that was used as the template. Weird.
When I created a new post (not using Duplicate) and added it to the series, PublishPress displays the title correctly.* My workaround, which is a pain, is to create new posts for the problem posts (thankfully only two or three). It seems to be working OK, even though I’m copying and pasting from the original post.
*The caveat is that I used to be able to create short titles when the Series would list the posts. Example: The post title is “The Godfather – a Great Movie by Francis Ford Coppala” but in the sidebar widget “More from this Series,” it would just say “The Godfather.” This is my preference, but now it displays the whole title. Do you know how I can create the shorter titles when listing the posts within a series?
If I were to uninstall/reinstall PublishPress, would it delete all of my existing series?
OK. I disabled all plugins except for PublishPress. I did it on the live site (I don’t know how to work in “staging”). Issue still persists. I even loaded it in a different browser. Same issue.
It’s called Duplicate Page. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicate-page/
If it matters, I probably did use “Duplicate this as a draft” from A Year of the Quiet Sun as a starting point for the other posts, but the title was overwritten to the correct one. … It’s like the PublishPress plugin is picking up some “residue” from the earliest draft.
It’s showing I have 2.9.2 installed. Also, I have no idea how to install software from a zip file that I download. I usually update within the WordPress interface. In this case, it’s set to AutoUpdate and it shows I have 2.9.2 installed.
… IF I were to disable and/or uninstall in preparation to reinstall, will I lose my current series?

Also, at the end of the post, it says “Series Navigation.” I think that used to show the next (or previous) post within that series. It still says “Series Navigation,” but there is not other link.
