Thanks Heyme! That’s a good short term solution for me too.

I’m having the same issue. I have a separate blog page with no content. The wordpress page editor recognizes it as “You are currently editing the page that shows your latest posts.”

But the page shows no posts.

Sounds good. It’s not a critical issue for me but it looked important enough to mention.

I had been playing around with some of the settings for the menu icon. I just removed them from my child theme except for a color and opacity change and now everything looks great!

This is much better. But now the menu disappears at certain screen widths. I don’t want to take up too much of your time, and can look into it further, but I figured I’d mention it just in case you have any ideas off the top of your head on how to fix it.

If that’s not easy to address, I’ll mention that I probably won’t make use of the secondary menu any time soon so maybe there’s a solution in that direction?

I second the suggestions made by @elly2013. The sidebars are the only places where non-post information can have some prominence. I’d love to have the option of an author bio and/or an ad block in there at the very least.

Excellent! So one more question… I just purchased the two-column upgrade and I entered the license key and selected “activate”.

But… I don’t see the two-column layout as an option in the customizer yet. Does it take a little time to kick in? Or did I do something wrong?
