This is an issue for me too. I spent a while researching and found no way forward and resorted to media gallery double up… but I agree with moonique that this is really unsatisfactory.
Thanks for any help with this…Thanks for that Niko. I forgot at first about taking the spaces out, between parentheses and content. Now working fine. That is really helpful. best wishes from Greg
I had another go at this and renamed the function that triggered the error in the nggSearch file. So in the line 116 referred to in the error message above it now reads.
‘function nggCreateGallerySEARCH($picturelist, $galleryID = false, $template = ”, $images = false) {‘
and that is building a gallery page with pretty comprehensive results.
So I can mark this topic as resolved.
It now makes me realise though that one function that I’m missing from Nextgen in Nextcellent is the ability to build a gallery based on tags…..Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] search nextcellent imagesFurther to last one Niko, the 2 posts below were the ones relating to NextCellent Gallery Search and I think those can now be marked as resolved but they don’t have your solutions to the problems on the threads.
Meanwhile the thread above is still unresolved and with a bit of a detour… not sure if you are allowed to shuffle your replies around?

In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] search nextcellent imagesHi Niko, Thankyou for this one. That worked, allowing me to search galleries and open any gallery found.
This was a different query to the thread above though……. This post was meant to ask about NextGen 2.0 Search engine for searching images and creating a gallery of the images found.
I made another post asking about the NextCellent Gallery Search plugin which it looks like you have now fixed.
I would still really like to get NextGen 2.0 Search engine working, as described above.
Thankyou for getting the gallery search working (and for what is seeming a great plugin from my first experiences).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] search nextcellent imagesI tried remaking the search plugin following the advice in the links above and got another error. Unfortunately I don’t read code well enough to interpret this.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare nggCreateGallery() (previously declared in /home/d25swla/public_html/wp-gp/wp-content/plugins/nextcellent-javascript-3/nggfunctions.php:244) in /home/d25swla/public_html/wp-gp/wp-content/plugins/nggSearch-greg/nggSearch-greg.php on line 116Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] search nextcellent imagesThanks for that but when I try to activate it I get this error message.
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/d25swla/public_html/wp-gp/wp-includes/query.php on line 28
I’m not 100% sure that the version I’m trying to activate is the one that worked before photocrati made changes but I think it is.
I would really value getting that search working again and I’m sure others would too.
It worked really well, generating a gallery of images from search terms. Thanks for speedy reply to this one. I installed the javascript version and copying worked fine but it looks like it knocks out NextCellent Gallery Search, which gives this message.
NextCellent Gallery Search Error:
NextCellent Gallery Search is an add-on for the NextCellent Gallery WordPress plugin, but NextCellent Gallery is not installed.
Please download it here automatically or manually from the WordPress repository.
That plugin wasn’t working for me anyway, I posted earlier today that although it found galleries fine it said that I didn’t have rights to enter the found gallery even though I’m an administrator.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MMWW] MMWW image/post idThanks very much Ollie. That has worked fine after I did the upgrade. Really helpful, I’ll now see how that works with the search facility on my site.
When I was entering the new code I accidentally left a hyphen between the parentheses and this completely stopped the code working… I mention this in case someone else has similar problems.
I will go and give 5 stars…. That has really helped me with captioning single images.
Thanks and best wishes from GregForum: Plugins
In reply to: [MMWW] MMWW image/post idThanks Ollie… that will be great if you can do that. I’ll watch out for updates. best wishes from Greg
I see now that I should probably have included my server settings… just noticed them on the dashboard…
I contacted my host and their comment was

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: easily.co.uk install… stuckHi, I’m struggling with a similar (the same?) problem with easily linux advanced hosting package and wondering if the solution above worked?
I have tried the coding suggested in the wpconfig file but when I try to access the wpinstall file on my browser I get an ‘internal server error’ message.
Thanks in advance for any help. all best from greg
