It’s a back-end problem, and happened when we installed/activated wooCommerce Payments – which asked for a user Id, but didn’t like my existing one. So I created a new one, but haven’t been able to activate it, because the email link doesn’t work.

I eventually got in with my old ID – so are OK for the time being. Hopefully, we will not hit the same problem when we move staging to live.
nb We don’t have jetpack.

I guess that ‘UK’ had been entered before I joined the project, and I assumed it had been entered automatically at install time. I guess that the rate isn’t automatic either, so our site admin have to update it if it ever changes? Please confirm – thanks.

I forget to add that in my example above the Customer’s/Shipping location is set with a valid UK address.

You can’t link to it as it’s a development site on a local machine – and it’s constantly changing as we try different things.

When I add ” :hover {border:1px red dotted;} ” (using additional CSS)
it jumps to dynamically being able to only displays 2 products in the row.

Where can I set the product card with an invisible border – and still get 3 products in the row, and then I can add onHover to just change its color? Or is there a better way?

nb. I read that wooCommerce uses ‘grid’ layout – we are used to ‘flex’ ;(

I removed the numbering with

woocommerce-page.columns-3 ul.products li.product, .woocommerce.columns-3 ul.products li.product {
list-style-type: none !important; }

But how remove/reduce the now empty space.

On a related issue: I read that woo creates several default/std pages, e.g. shop, cart, etc. When I view these pages (i.e in Admin) :
– the Cart page has an embedded woo short-cut
– but the Shop page doesn’t have an embedded widget.
Is this normal?
{ I tried deleting it, then in woo Tools recreating it, but still no embedded widget}

I have a new version of Woo & the StoreFront theme, with no other plugins activated. And I have 2 shipping zones set up ( one for same country as the store, the other is the whole world). And I’ve got some test products.

When a new visitor adds a product, then goes to the Basket, on the left it says: “Shipping: No shipping options were found for?default.
Enter a different address“

Is this how it’s intended?
Is there a default visitor address I should have set?

If the visitor clicks and enters their address … it then refreshes the page … and shows some shipping options. But the wording earlier “Shipping: No shipping options were found for?default. Enter a different address“ Doesn’t seem very user friendly.

Thanks, but before jumping into adding/changing code, we want help understanding why/if the existing breadcrumbs are designed/intended not to offer navigation back to the shop page?
And if so, why every other user of wooCommerce has not asked for what we are looking for?

Have we understood ‘Categories’
Reading forums, it seems the ‘uncategorized’ category should not be removed, but can be renamed e.g. “All Products”.
Can woo work without categories? – i.e. list all products on the shop page, and visitors can select a product, then go back to the shop page, where they can select another product if required?
