In reply to: 6.0.2 Causing Google Crawl Error for admin.ajax.phpI am having the same issue. Google console sending a “Blocked due to other 4xx issue” for the …/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Since I can’t add a screenshot here this is what that page looks like when I put that url in a browser: The admin-ajax.php page returns a white blank page with a 0 in top left corner and nothing else.
I use Enfold theme and this coder is known for having extremely well written, clean code and that theme has been around since 2013. I am doubting the theme being an issue though I understand you never know.
I received the email from google on Aug 31st 2022. I do see a last crawl date on Aug 25th 2022 in console.
The only details I could find were this:

I am using Really Simple SSL and the only thing this plugin is warning me about is my locked/unwritable htaccess file and this is normal as I am using BulletProof Security plugin which secures via htaccess and does lock the file.So I am deactivating the Really Simple SSL 301 redirect that uses htaccess to see if this will fix my issue.
I am also going to see what in the old blog post from 2020 is calling that url
I have a pending crawl verification going in console but to be honest, I don’t quite know what I’m doing here.

I believe you’re right because I just sent myself an email from the website and it doesn’t display well either so it’s probably not from your end but rather actually from the theme.
I should have checked before bothering you.. my apologies.
I did send you a reply just the same.. thank you kindly

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Spanish .mo .po files missing?Oh I see,
Thanks for clarifying. So if my browser was in spanish, as might be the case for my spanish visitors, then it would be in spanish correct?
Makes sense.
Thanks Mike!

In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Spanish .mo .po files missing?Hi Mike & mbrsolution
Here’s a screenshot. Don’t worry about the blacked out parts… my client just wants to keep his site underwraps until launch so I uploaded it to my own server and blocked out compromising text.
The part I can’t translate has red indications.
https://griffingraffix.com/si-contact-form-translation-issue.jpgThanks for the help
Hi Xnau.. remember we had fixed an issue with repeated emails that were empty sent from a blank page… we changed the ID to pdbid= in the participants-database.php file… the fix worked for that problem but now I have the same problem as member above… seems my client gets many emails for the exact same signup… not just one or 2…
Can you give us an estimate on when next version will be ready?
Thanks a bunch!!!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Receiving tons of fake subscription emailsK thanks, will have my coder try it… I agree this fix isn’t perfect because of updates but something has to be done… I have to reset this plugin for emails to go to owner of site, not to me, but he couldn’t handle the flood of emails so until it’s fixed I’m the one getting them. Not very useful to my client lol.
I do appreciate your help tremendously… and I do really love this plugin..
Thanks! I’ll let you know if the fix works.. I suspect it will ??

In reply to: [Participants Database] Receiving tons of fake subscription emailsok.. I think I understand… I do have widgets on home that call a page and those widgets are numbered 1 & 2. That was a customization we had to implement on the theme. But because this might be more complicated to change, I am wondering how difficult it would be to add a prefix to your ID’s?
Something like say: ID=pd1, pd2, pd3 etc.. instead of just the number 1, 2, 3. I am wrong to assume that then I wouldn’t be having this problem anymore?Would that be a very difficult change?
That is assuming that it is this widget call that is causing the mixup between the page call from widget & the ID call from your plugin. Or it could be from the slider which also uses ID’s like 1, 2, 3, 4 etc

In reply to: [Participants Database] Receiving tons of fake subscription emailsk Looks like the fix has stopped the fake signups from coming… might still be a bit too soon to really tell but I haven’t received a single one since your change was applied… so far so good.
On the other hand, I am still receiving new signups from site but they are from old signups… not new at all.
Here’s an example:

A new signup has been submittedName: Don Doty

Edit this new record here: https://www.vacationinpuertovallarta.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=participants-database-edit_participant&action=edit&id=2
_______________________These signups dates back to couple weeks ago… we just launched this site a couple weeks ago and we have only 3 signups so far but I am receiving emails of these same ones almost on a daily basis..
Help? Thanks a bunch!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Receiving tons of fake subscription emailsOh yes of course! Sorry I should have done that in the first place.
https://www.vacationinpuertovallarta.comIt’s in footer at bottom
Thank you so much and I love this plugin by the way! Great work!
Totally agree Mike! As much as possible themes and plugins should not alter other source code from non-pertaining elements.
I was hoping you could help but since it seems these extra line breaks don’t come from your own code then I guess I’ll have to figure this one out on my own… blah… more fun for me lol. And the search begins….
Thanks though for your quick responses and of course, this really great plugin!
arrrggg… lol. guess I didn’t get the backtick right but anyways, look at the code and where there are emtpy lines is where the br/ (line breaks) are.
really sorry about all this mess thanks for your help!
oups.. goofed I guess here it is same post as above with code in proper brackets I hope. sorry I’m french and don’t know what backtick is.
Hi Mike,
One more question if I may.
There’s a lot of vertical spacing between the 3 checkbox lines and from its title too.When viewing html from firebug I see this code and there’s
there and pretty sure that’s the reason for all that extra spacing.‘<div style=”text-align: left; padding-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 2px; “>
<label>Interests:</label>
</div>
<div style=”text-align: left; “>
<span style=”white-space: nowrap; “><input type=”checkbox” style=”width: 13px; ” id=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_1″ name=”si_contact_ex_field1_1″ value=”selected”/>
<label style=”display: inline; ” for=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_1″>Deep Tissue Massage</label>
</span><span style=”white-space: nowrap; “>
<input type=”checkbox” style=”width: 13px; ” id=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_2″ name=”si_contact_ex_field1_2″ value=”selected”/>
<label style=”display: inline; ” for=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_2″>Akashic Record Sessions</label>
</span><span style=”white-space: nowrap; “>
<input type=”checkbox” style=”width: 13px; ” id=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_3″ name=”si_contact_ex_field1_3″ value=”selected”/>
<label style=”display: inline; ” for=”si_contact_ex_field1_1_3″>Life Coaching Sessions</label>
</span>
</div>’I can’t seem to find where to remove those. Can u guide me please?
Thanks a bunch!

trying this backtick thing again… this is an edit…
Was the theme.
Thanks Mike for great plug-in. The code below worked for aligning labels with boxes. If you have a solution for aligning everything on a single line, I’d appreciate it. I already made .fsc_data_container wider to accommodate the full lenght line.For those having same issue this custom CSS added to your main theme should work:
#si_contact_ex_field1_1_1 { display:inline; margin:0;}
#si_contact_ex_field1_1_2 { display:inline;margin:0;}
#si_contact_ex_field1_1_3 { display:inline;margin:0;}
*repeat for each box and its associated number as seen here.
** if this is for a form other than form 1 I believe you’ll also have to change the field numbers as well as checkbox # but not sure. You can check correct ID with firebug or other app.the margin code is optional as I had much too much space between lines of checkboxes.
This however, has not put all 3 checkboxes on same line as I had wished but it did put the labels next to checkboxes at least.
