In reply to: [HungryFEED] This plugin is DEAD. Dev site is GONE. Don't bother. It’s been working fine for us up until a week or so ago. The RSS feed displays on the home page correctly if I’m logged in as admin but otherwise, it’s no longer updating. A weird glitch.
Any suggestions for an alternative plugin that offers similar power/ease of use?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] From field syntax masks sender’s address/replySame problem here. Nothing seems to work. AARRGGHH.
Sorry I can’t help you, @mateostockholm.
I decided to use SumoMe for my popup instead.
And is adjusting the setting for “Reappear after 1 day using Cookie” also a Pro feature?
Okay! What’s the URL of the page that indicates that? I must have missed it.
Well, by plugging in colors in additional fields, it seemed to trigger something because now the colors are working. I didn’t need to add the CSS. So that’s good!
I was confused about the opacity setting. That’s working.
So I’ll mark this topic ‘resolved’ for now. I have another issue but I’ll start a new topic for it.
Thanks!
Hi @voltroid,
No, in all three places where I’ve tried to change the text color, the hash # is included. Here’s a screen capture of the first one:
https://mountainbikegeezer.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/chimpmate-color-problem-1.pngAlso, I’ve changed the background opacity via the slider and that’s not taking effect either.
What now?

In reply to: [Pixel Cat - Conversion Pixel Manager] Manually add to every page? Thanks much for the insert-facebook-pixel-on-every-page plugin, Kellen.
I got the same parse error as @fafconetadmin but the fix by @manucnx (change those double quotations with single quotations) worked for me. Thanks, @manucnx.
It should also be noted that this enabled the code not just for pages but for posts, too.

In reply to: [ChimpMate - WordPress MailChimp Assistant] Fields not appearing in lightbox@voltroid, I had the same problem but your suggested fix worked.
Thanks!
I take it back. On the recommendation of my web host, I turned off the WP-Super Cache plugin and then resubmitted the feed to the validator and it came up clean.
And then I tested it with Mailchimp and it works.
So thank you, Joseph!
Dang, the plugin doesn’t seem to solve my problem with the RSS feed.
I’ve filed a ticket at:
https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/35043This appears to be the cause of a new problem I’m having with images in the RSS feed. When I plug my feed into the validator at:
https://validator.w3.org/feed/It says:
This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
line 41, column 0: content:encoded should not contain srcset attribute
line 41, column 0: content:encoded should not contain sizes attribute
The problem (broken images) shows up in Mailchimp where I use the RSS-to-email template.
Glad to hear, Bradvin. Keep me posted.
You probably noticed that I replaced the 3 of the 4 embedded Picasaweb slideshows at https://knechts.net/landscaping/ with HTML 5 versions using:

In reply to: [Fourteen Extended] Change order of featured posts? Thanks, Zulf, that worked!

In reply to: [Fourteen Extended] Change order of featured posts?Same problem for me, Zulf. I’ve deactivated the plugin for now.
Would it make sense to make Version 1.2.1 available in the meantime? That version seemed bug-free.
