Yeah I want to take a look at those comments plugin. But which one? You have a name? Or names.

I am running 1.5 – since about three days ?? I’ll have a look at WP Cache as well. If that one works better..

It is probably a heritage from b2 that also never searched the comments. An advanced search option would be nice, you’d have the options to search the comments in all posts belonging to category n.

Maybe it’s a good idea if in the future, small (security) updates like this are not only incorporated in the complete download, but also be made available alongside with the complete package, so users can choose to do a complete upgrade or update just the changed files.
This is a really easy solution that works very well for phpBB: it allows users to upgrade easy without too much thinking. It would also be clearer where to get the right thing since it is communicated through the main site and developers group, and users don’t have to search the messageboards.

Well, I’ve been waiting almost a year until now with upgrading. I was done with the limited possibilities of b2 over a year ago, so switching to an older version? neh…. :-/ I want it all now.

I think the problem is organising the information. Multiple Blogs (each with their own look) is nothing else than information architecture. You might have a lot of content that you want to sort, so you might want 7 main categories with each 4 subcats, instead of 28 loose categories. And wether you show it in one or in multiple blogs is in fact irrelevant.
I think Drupal.org is working in that direction.
