Let′s say I have an object in an image that is not completely filling the frame. Could be 1/2 of the image for example. However, in the gallery I would like to only show the object but when you click on opening the picture you would see the entire image. Does that make more sense?

I am using re.Smush not only to have a quicker website but to save some hosting space. I have problems with my site backup because of total size of all the images.

My inital idea was now to simply delete all unsmushed images. However, that does not seem to work either as I have learnt that the images would be optimized again.

I have all images stored in an image library so there is no way I could delete the data.

    Any ideas? Cheers!

That was a great hint and is the reason for the error. Unfortunately my hoster isn’t offering the 64bit version yet.

However, maybe you could still help me by suggesting a good way how to split my backup into two parts. My largest folder is within the Upload folder within “WP Content” (3.8 GB out of 4.14 GB).

Under Files and Uploads I don’t see enough folders to exclude. Any ideas!

Once again thank you for helping me out!

Tried Tar and TarGzip. Still the same mistake.

Here is the debug info. Want to let you know that I really much appreciate your time and knowledge.

Again no luck. I have checked the file but it is not that big.

I am no WordPress or Web Expert…by no means. Is my WordPress maybe simply too big? Or might there be a Dropbox Limit for this?

    Thanks again.

    Here is the last protocol:
