Thanks for the reply. It’s not a plug-in, just the sign-up to be notified of new posts, which I’m pretty sure was included in the sidebar of default (Kubrick) theme. The odd URL in question is also in the address bar when the link is clicked, but not when the same post is viewed by navigating through the archives – in that case the correct title displays within the address bar.

Thanks vkaryl. My problem is even more complicated -All I have is the db backup, and no current installation. If I understand you and the info on tamba2, then I’ll need to install 1.5, import the old (url corrected) database, then upgrade the whole site to 2.0. If this is correct, does it matter which version of 1.5 I use? I’m not certain how to determine which exact version the db came from.
