In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Where are the settings inside the editor?I’m not using that plugin; however, settings for plugins are typically not found where you edit a post. They’re separate, either by clicking on the plugin and clicking settings there OR somewhere else in the navigation.
According to Perplexity AI:
“To access the settings for the Easy Table of Contents plugin in WordPress:- Navigate to Settings > Table of Contents in your WordPress admin dashboard13.
- You’ll find several settings tabs and options to configure the plugin, including:
- Enable Support: Check the option for “Posts” to enable the table of contents for blog posts1.
- Processing Headings: Ensure the box for “Post” is checked1.
- General settings: Control how and where tables of contents appear on your site4.
- Appearance settings: Configure the look and style of the table of contents4.
- Advanced settings: Additional configuration options4.
- After making changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Save changes” button to apply your settings1.
- For individual posts, you can also find a “Table of Contents” panel at the bottom of the post editor, where you can check the box to “Insert table of contents” for that specific post1.
Remember to review and adjust these settings according to your preferences for how you want the table of contents to appear and function on your WordPress site.”
I’m sharing this so you can try it and by then perhaps the plugin coders will be around to answer if this doesn’t work.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] A great plugin that no longer worksDid you have the “secret key” box checked on the CommentLuv setup page? Any time spam gets in I just change what I have in that field to a string of REALLY long letters and numbers and that blocks them out again.
The only spam I get is left manually because that feature can keep out all the automated bots.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] 3.0.3 Missing Meta Title and Description FieldsNOTE Description is not missing – you have to click the pencil and edit the snippit.
There is no character counter, but if you hit a certain number the text turns red. Unfortunately, though, we don’t know what that number is or whether Yoast agrees with advice from others or not.
That said, there are many additional issues with 3.x including 3.0.3. Yes, you can roll back. See this WP Smackdown post on Yoast SEO 3.0 issues 2015/ for known problems and how to roll back to a previous issue.
I came here to ask the same question. Most serious bloggers use a professional theme such as Genesis or Thesis. These themes have SEO fields in them so we don’t always use Yoast or another SEO plugin. I see there is a tab in the JM plugin for Custom Fields, but we don’t know what to enter in them to make them use the fields built into the themes.
Is that what these fields are for and if yes, what type of name are we trying to find to plug in there? I tried what is displayed in Genesis and that didn’t work. I’m assuming it is something more technical or specific that could be found in the code?

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Help! My site is once again beset my spamAndy, if you want to see examples of what GASP integrated with CommentLuv Premium is putting into spam versus what is getting through I have saved what I’m getting. Skype is the fastest way to reach me; username growmap.
Yes, please. I agree with Nick that they should immediately and permanently be blocked. I’m buried in these attempts and clicking on them one at a time is not practical – but then neither is letting them get in.
Please consider letting us check and permanently block elsewhere as well. When would we not want to permanently block hackers and rogue crawlers? We can always unblock if we realize they were ok.
