I want to put the first 4 fields side by in 2 columns, so it fits the width of the content area better.

Found it! This is what I meant.

You misunderstood me.

I don’t want it to fit the width of the browser window.
I just want the text fit the width of the current container size, without the giant margin on both sides.

But then aren’t you potentially losing improvements, new functionality, etc?

Only takes a few minutes to overwrite a few files.

I have everything backed up anyway, and really only a handful of files I changed.

Is there a way to get those settings from the admin control panel?
I didn’t do the initial install of this blog, so finding things out like the path to mysql may be a PITA.

Never mind I figured it out.

I just put in the sidebar.php file instead.

I don’t see any of that code in my header file.

I’m using 2.1.

Where do i need to put the link?

There was/is content in the editor.

I got it working, even switched back to my customized theme.

The one and only pugin I had, WPG2, seemed to be causing the problem.

That kind of stinks, though, but I guess I can just manually put Gallery images and links in my posts. Come to think of it, I’m not even sure what the real benefit of the plugin is.

I’ll try that.
